She stated to the judge Ruben had engaged in this activity with the young males "over an extended period", and youngsters had previously become sick the next day.

She explained Ruben had been capable of justifying this repeatedly as the minors being "overwrought by enjoyment", until his family member had worries in recently.

The prosecutor added: "This year his stepson had suspicions about the situation, with valid cause.

"They resolved" to investigate in the individual's items."

The prosecutor stated items including baby oil, ointment and injection devices were located, and his family member notified the authorities about his concerns.

She explained the defendant proceeded to conduct the "candy game" with six boys that time - July 26th - and they were everyone unwell the following morning.

"Law enforcement" had not arrived by that stage," she stated further.

The oversight body, the Independent Office for Police Conduct, had stated that it was examining the police response of the events.

The prosecutor said the minors were having difficulty walking due to their sickness, so the family member called the police once more.

She said Ruben then engaged in the "treat game" in a room of five children.
